Core Slot Expansion

  • In the previous versions of Derby Stars, ever since the update of Cores, there has been a constant balance issue with the number of Core slots for different rarities of horses. With Unique having 6 cores and Common having 1 core, it was hard for lower rarities of horses to even hope to outrun the Unique horses. This caused problems for both the higher-grade horses and the lower-grade horses because, due to a lack of participants in the PvP competitions, higher-grade horses could not run and lower-grade horses did not dare to enter PvP.

  • With the Core Slot Expansion update, all horses will at least have a maximum of five core slots available. To expand the core slots, CRT will be required. The expansion probability will decrease as more core slots are unlocked.

  • A new item, Dana’s Hammer, will be added to increase the probability of expanding the Core slot. D-grade and E-grade Dana’s Hammer will be available on the Webshop. For higher grades for Dana’s Hammer, the Horse Retire System (가제) will be implemented in Derby Stars.
