Planet IX is a Play-to-Earn strategy game using digital assets that run on the Polygon network. You can choose to play for free or pay to buy NFTs. In Planet IX, you develop territories, explore facilities, and gather assets. Everything you gather has true ownership.

Basic Game Mechanics Planet IX

  • Mission Control 

When entering Mission Control, you will be provided with a set number of land tiles to monetize your assets when placing on land tiles and start producing Waste.

  • Collecting Waste

You can collect Waste, which is the initial mission for all Agents of Change in the resurrection of Planet IX. Waste is NFT. You can sell it in the marketplace, store it, or use it to acquire new assets and building materials.

  • Refine Waste

You can refine Waste at the EternaLab to discover Bio-M0ds, Blueprints, and other resources essential for developing Base. Refine Waste at GWS to exchange Waste into Astro Credits, which have various use cases on Planet IX.

  • Build Facility

Facilities are a key component in the Waters of Genesis season, as it is the only way to acquire Energy that can be staked for $IXT or PIX rewards.

There are also some assets that you can use when you play the game.

  • Items

Items in Planet IX, such as Drone, can be staked on the tiles in Mission Control to farm the ERC-1155 Waste Token. Facilities are in-game assets that can be constructed to generate energy. Rovers gather waste and other materials from the tile, and the resources can be claimed after full capacity.

  • Building Materials

Planet IX materials Bio-M0ds to create facilities. Energy is used for staking, and you can choose to stake for $IXT or PIX rewards, with a 1:1 ratio. Tile contracts enable you to expand their mission controls. Landmarks are locations with huge benefits like share and raffle tickets. PIX can connect with other PIX to form territories in NetEmpire, and stake in mission control to farm WASTE.

  • Coins

Coins in Planet IX are like Astro credits used to create facilities and accelerate work orders. Loot crates, like Bio-M0d, blueprints, and Astro credits, contain bonus loot. Waste can be refined at GWS to be converted into Astro credits and used to discover Bio-M0ds, BluePrints, or Easter Eggs. Astro gold can be used in shops and services—AoC Badges to join whitelist & giveaways. Genesis NFTs provide airdrops for their holders. Metashares are governance tokens that enable you to invest in different corporations by purchasing meta-shares.
