How to make money in Splinterlands?

There are several ways to make money in Splinterlands through battles, daily focus, seasons, loot chests, tournaments, and leaderboards. You can make money in Splinterlands by buying and selling Spinterlands cards instead of playing the game. You can also play tournaments if you want to get some rewards.

WHAT TOKEN CAN YOU EARN IN THE GAME?

The tokens you can earn from Splinterlands are Dark Energy Crystals ($DEC) and Splintershards ($SPS). Dark Energy Crystals are the in-game currency token for Splinterlands, and Splintershards is the official governance token of Splinterlands. All the tokens can be obtained when you play the game.

HOW TO EARN TOKENS IN THE GAME?

In Splinterlands, you will earn $DEC and $SPS when you play ranked battle and win. Leaderboard, season, and burning card also give you $DEC. Additional ways to earn Splintershards are guild brawls, staking rewards, holding the in-game asset, and liquidity pools. For every win, the amount of $SPS that can be earned fluctuates depending on how many players compete for the reward pool. Several things such as ranked rating, league of play, win streak, using focus cards, gold cards, alpha/promo cards, beta cards, and level of guilds quest lodge can provide rewards bonuses. For $SPS in guild brawl, the higher the tier, the higher the reward pool. The higher your points, the more $SPS rewards you can get. Another way, if you want to avoid playing the game, is to rent your card to other players.

DO I NEED NFTS OR OTHER ASSETS TO EARN THE TOKEN?

Before you play and make money in Splinterlands, you need to buy Summoner’s Spellbook upgrade to earn rewards and access all functionalities of Splinterlands. The one-time upgrade costs $10. HOW CAN I CONVERT THESE TOKENS TO FIAT?

After you play some matches and win, you will get some tokens from Splinterlands and want to convert these tokens to Fiat.

Here the guide to convert tokens in Splinterlands to Fiat : 

1. Go to the main menu in Splinterlands.

2. Click the token you want to convert.

   

3. Click transfer, and make sure “Transfer Out” is selected.

   

4. Select the wallet you want to transfer. 

5. Fill in the amount you want to withdraw

6. Then click the transfer button

7. After you receive the token, you can convert tokens via DEXs, such as PancakeSwap, UniSwap, SushiSwap, and others, to BNB and BUSD, which will later be sent to CEXs like Binance.

   

8. After the token is converted to BNB or BUSD, transfer it to CEX like Binance, and you can sell the tokens for Fiat.

IS THERE ANY REASON TO HOLD ON TO THE TOKEN RATHER THAN SELL THEM?

Yes, you can stake splintershards to earn greater rewards and perks. Once staked, SPS tokens are subject to an unstacking period of 4 weeks. After the tokens are unstaked, they will be released into the liquid supply at a rate of 1/4 per week for four weeks. The total reward pool started at 7.5 million tokens on August 2, 2021, and decreasing by 1% every month until now.
