Craft, Harvest, and Build Your Homeland on Lunacia Through Axie Infinity: Homeland's Alpha Season

Launched through an early Alpha in December 2022, Axie Infinity: Homeland allows you to own and cultivate your homeland on Lunacia by harvesting resources from your land to produce materials to build your village. As of June 2023, Axie Infinity: Homeland, currently in Alpha Season 2, is only open to landowners as we are only in Phase 1 of Axie Infinity's roadmap. Once we reach Phase 2 of the roadmap, there will be a rental system in Axie Infinity: Homeland for landowners to lease their land plots to other players, allowing non-landowners to participate in Axie Infinity's land economy. The introduction of the rental system would help lower the barriers to entry to Axie Infinity: Homeland, as the relatively high cost of purchasing land within the game makes it inaccessible to some players. From a tokenomics perspective, the introduction of Axie Infinity: Homeland drove up demand for, and the price of, the native token of Axie Infinity, $AXS, as players look to acquire the token to purchase land within the game.
